GET

I thought I would throw this out there for any WA readers with kiddos...
Tomorrow is the last day to sign up for a GET account at this year's prices. (GET is a 529 college savings program.) you just have to sign up by tomorrow, and then you have until April 30 to purchase units at this year's price, but your account has to be set up by tomorrow at midnight.
disclaimer: you should do your research before signing up to make sure it's the right plan for you, as there is some controversy around what will happen with the GET program in the future and I am not a financial advisor!
But, I had a friend tell me about it last year at this time (you can sign up kiddos that are not yet born but will be born in the next year) and I appreciated it (thanks E), so I thought I'd spread the word!
And, to anyone who has given us any sort of cash gift for the kiddos in the past year, this is where we put it - we thank you now and the kiddos will thank you in 18 years!
