- We did not make it up ourselves though, we saw it a couple years ago in a playbill from the 5th Avenue Theater. We both thought it sounded both strong and beautiful. We joked we would name our next daughter that and now... if we have a daughter, we will!
- In a funny twist, Blake had always wanted to name Kaylee "River" and one of the meanings for this name is River.
- Apparently, it has Old Greek, Spanish, Latin, and Egyptian roots.

ReplyDeleteSecond, I had the genius idea to google "baby girl names that mean river" thinking I would land on two or three and send them to you and be all special for figuring it out. Oh no, there are apparently hundreds of baby girl names which mean river. Darn.

When your unusually-named daughter is old enough to place orders at Starbucks, she will have quite a dilemma. Nana is already using the name "Dana", so she will have to come up with her own!
